Taiwan Textile Federation launches sourcing platform for Taiwan functional textiles

Taiwan possesses the leading textile technology among the world. With the diversity and differentiation in the new product development, Taiwan plays an important role in the global functional textiles supply chains, reaching 70% of global market share. In the 2018 FIFA World Cup, 75% of the top 16 teams chose the functional textiles made in Taiwan. For the functional textiles, Taiwan has developed a certification system “TFT” with 23 verification standards, allowing the buyers and customers to examine the quality of functional textiles through the certification label.
