Introduction

The Dropdown Options page allows Organization Admins to manage the options used in custom field dropdowns.

You can use this page to:

• Remove unused or duplicate dropdown options.
• Delete options with typos or incorrect names.
• See how many assets are currently using each option before deleting it.
• Note: Only Organization Admins can manage and delete dropdown options.

How to Manage Dropdown Options

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select your Organization.
3. Select Asset Page Setup.
4. Click the Dropdown Options tab.
5. Review the list of dropdown options and the number of assets using each option. You can find Dropdown Options in each Custom Field Section within Asset Page Setup. And you can also use the search bar to find the dropdown options. 
   
6. To remove an option, click the Trash icon next to it.
7. Confirm the deletion.

⚠️Important Note:

• You cannot delete a dropdown option if it is still being used by any assets. Please remove the option from those assets first, then try deleting it again.
• Deleting a dropdown option cannot be undone. Please make sure the option is no longer needed before deleting it.
