Uploading Pre-Scanned Images
Introduction
Adding pre-scanned images to the Asset Library in Frontier.cool is an important process for users who already have digital fabric images. This knowledge base article will guide you through the steps for uploading these existing images, ensuring that they meet the necessary requirements for successful integration into the platform.
Steps for Uploading Existing Images
1. Selecting the Upload Option
• Initiate Upload:
In the Asset Library, click on the [Upload an existing image] option. This action is designed for users who have pre-scanned images ready to be added to the library.
2. Meeting Image Requirements
Before uploading, it is essential to ensure that your image adheres to the specified criteria:
• Supported Formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG. These formats are widely accepted for their compatibility and quality.
• Maximum File Size: 100MB per file. Larger files may not be processed correctly or may take a longer time to upload.
• Minimum Resolution: 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch). This resolution ensures that the image quality is sufficient for detailed viewing and printing.
• Minimum Size: 800x800 pixels. This dimension is required to maintain a clear and usable image quality.
3. Uploading the Image
Select the image that meets the above requirements, then, click [Browse] to upload your chosen image to the Asset Library.
• Processing and Appearance: After uploading, the image will be processed by the system and you can track the completion status in the Progress Status tab.
