Creating and Managing a Private Digital Library on an Embed Page

Introduction

Private Digital Library ensures you can share your collection via embed code and grant access to selected clients. You can create exclusive collections and control the sharing process, ensuring it reaches the right clients.


Set Up The Private Digital Library from Collection

  1. Go to the Workspace.
  2. Click on the three dots button of the collection you want to set up, then select Share.

  3. Go to the Embed Code tab and turn on Enable private view (this allows the collection to be shared through a Private Digital Library).
  4. Click on the Copy Link button to get the embed code to input/embed it on your website page.

Control the Access of the Private Digital Library

  1. Open the Embed Code tab in the collection.
  2. Make sure that Enable private view is turned on (this allows the collection to be shared through a private digital library).
  3. Click on the Add Email button, then enter the email address of the individuals you want to grant access to, then click + and the Share and save button. Enabling Allow 3D material download lets selected individuals download the 3D material file for design purposes.
  4. Click the 🔗 button to copy the access code.  Every collection has its unique access code.
  5. Finish. Now you can share the access code with the individuals you have given access to.

 

How to Access the Private Digital Library

  1. Those with the access code should visit the website's embedded page.
  2. Enter the email address that has been given access to, use the access code as the password, then click View Now.
  3. Now, only those with granted access can explore the collection, ensuring an exclusive and personalized experience.
