Mass Upload Data with Multiple Fabric Sides
Introduction
In textiles, fabric often has multiple sides or layers, including a Face, Middle, and Back side. To indicate that a fabric has multiple sides or layers, follow these step-by-step instructions to input the mass data using the Mass Upload option in TextileCloud™.
Mass Upload Excel Template
- Fill in all fabric specifications using the Mass Upload Excel Template file.
In the Excel Template file, we can only specify one fabric side. For example, the figure below shows the fabric side as the Face Side.
● If the fabric has a Back side, put 'Y' in the Back side column. Additionally, if the Back side shares the same information as the Face side, put 'Y' in the Copy Face-side info
● If the fabric has a Middle side, put 'Y' in the Composite material column.
● If the fabric has Middle and Back side, put 'Y' both in Composite material and Back Side column. - Navigate to the Asset Library, and click on the [+Create] button. Scroll down and select [Mass Upload]
- Upload the Mass Excel Template file. All fabric data will be displayed in the Online Spreadsheet.
2-Sides Fabric (Face and Back side):
- If the fabric has a Face and Back side, check the [Double Side] checkbox.
- If the Back side has the same information as the Face side, simply check the [Sync Face Side Info] checkbox.
- If the Back side has different information from the Face side, scroll left and fill in the specifications in the [Back Side] section. This includes Features, Finish, Content*, Material Type*, Material Description, and Construction fields.
2-Sides Fabric (Face and Middle side):
- If the fabric has a Face and Middle side, select [Face] on the Side Type field, and check the [Composite Material] checkbox.
- Then, scroll left and fill in the specifications in the [Middle Side] section, including the Features, Finish, and Construction fields.
3-Sides Fabric (Face, Middle, Back side):
- If the fabric has Face, Back, and Middle sides, check both the [Double Side] and [Composite Material] checkboxes.
- Then, scroll left and fill in the specifications for both the [Back Side] and [Middle Side] sections.
Conclusion
By adhering to these best practices, you can efficiently mass upload assets that accurately reflect the physical fabric, including multiple sides or layers. If you need support or assistance, our dedicated team is ready to help. Feel free to contact us at support@frontier.cool.
